I was a bit sport-phobic at school, and it was after I had had my second child 8 years ago that I started running, dancing and competitive swimming. Exercise was a fantastic way to get back in shape, but also to achieve some new goals, boost my energy levels and make new friends. 5 years ago I could never have envisaged competing in marathons and triathlons, but the sense of achievement, and enjoyment, have been immense.
So I qualified as a personal trainer in Spring 2010 and I am delighted to have joined the Überfit team. My hope is that I can bring my personal experience into my training of clients. EVERYONE has the ability to achieve their fitness goals and make a huge difference to their lives as a result – whether your aim is weight-loss or running a half marathon. By tailoring programmes to the needs and goals of each individual client, I aim to make sessions not just stretching – providing you with confidence, encouragement and a helping hand to keep you on track – but also enjoyable, so that fitness becomes an invaluable part of your everyday life.
Qualifications: REPS Level 3 Advanced Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 3 Weight Management
