All about Claire

I have worked in the Fitness Industry for a while now, unbelievably it’s nearly 20 years. So much has happened in the industry during this time, it seems that almost weekly a new type of class is launched , a new gadget available to monitor and improve your performance, a new school of thought on the best way to train and achieve results. Despite all of this, unfortunately, a large percentage of our population remains unfit. For me, the most important thing is to encourage and motivate everyone to achieve a healthier lifestyle bringing with it an improved sense of well being and less stress. Regular exercise can achieve all of this , so that is my goal as a Fitness Trainer… reach out to as many people as possible and make them regular exercisers!

During my career I have worked in a number of private gyms and health clubs, local sports centres and taken part in community projects. I have taught Aerobics, Conditioning, Step, Fitball, Group cycle, Abs, Circuit classes and Body Pump. Since qualifying as a Personal Trainer I have worked successfully with a wide variety of clients.

Whether teaching a group of 25 or working 1:1 as a Personal Trainer I always encourage my clients to give their best and to get the most from their session. I aim to make exercise enjoyable so you want to come back for more! Commitment is key to success. I use my knowledge and experience to ensure individual sessions as well as group classes are designed to ultimately achieve goals and objectives. I attend workshops and seminars to keep up to date in the ever changing fitness industry. I want all our Uberfit clients to become fitter and feel good about themselves. If I can inspire people to make fitness a part of their lives then I am happy.
Needless to say I love working out and enjoy challenging my own fitness levels! I enjoy running and have run half marathons. I love skiing, walking and hiking. I also love rugby (not to play) watching my sons play and supporting England and Harlequins!
