SAFE EXERCISE AND AVOIDING INJURY.
When undertaking any form of exercise safety is of paramount importance. As group fitness instructors and Personal Trainers it is our responsibility to ensure your sessions are safe. Here are some guidelines for you to follow:
– All members must complete a PAR-Q form. Fill in a form at the beginning of your next session if you haven”t done one yet.
-Let us know at the beginning of the class if you have any injuries.
-Let us know if you are receiving treatment from a specialist eg. physiotherapist, osteopath.
– Always listen to instructions carefully (especially in Friday circuits!)
-Watch exercise demonstrations and follow techniques shown.
-Ask questions if you are unsure how to perform an exercise.
-Do not continue to exercise if you experience pain.
